Las Negras - place of smugglers and pirates in the Cabo de Gata Nature Park with low, North African cube houses among palm trees.
Tabernas - namesake of the only desert in Europe and the location of numerous wild west films such as "Play me the song of death" by Sergio Leone.
Guadix - the city of caves and one of the oldest human settlements in the country.
Sierra Nevada - in the national park of the same name lies the southernmost ski resort in Europe and the highest point (over 2,500 m) of our tours.
Granada - the Moorish jewel is world-famous for the Alhambra towering over the city and the idyllic Moorish residential district of Albaicín and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Trevélez - the picturesque mountain village at an altitude of 1,476 m is world-famous for its Serrano ham and clings to the southern slope of the Sierra Nevada like a white swallow's nest.
Alhama de Granada - on the edge of a deep gorge lies the thermal baths built by the Romans and fed by hot springs.
Hornos de calcinación - bizarre buildings of an old, abandoned iron smelter in the Sierra Alhamilla Nature Park.
Mirador De La Granatilla - special viewpoint over the coast of the Cabo de Gata Nature Park.
Cala de Las Sirenas - bay with impressive views of the "Siren" reef in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park.
Geopark Cabo de Gata-Níjar - the volcanic-metamorphic rock of this 472 square kilometer area on the east coast of Andalusia was formed from fossil coral reefs and sedimentary deposits.
Alto Velefique - view of 1000 mountains and 1000 curves - a special viewpoint at 1,860 m above sea level.
Observatorio de Calar Alto - German-Spanish observatory on the 2,168 m high Calar Alto in the Sierra de los Filabres with the largest reflecting telescope in Western Europe.
Puerto de la Ragua - 2,000 m high pass crossing in the eastern Sierra Nevada and popular cross-country skiing area.
El Torcal - the karst formations created over millions of years are among the most extraordinary natural spectacles in Europe and have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2016.
Due to the weather conditions at altitudes above 1,300 meters, we only offer this route from the beginning of May to mid-October.
There are traditional ventas (inns) along the entire route. There is always enough time for a break with delicious tapas, Spanish desserts, ice cream and drinks.
There are plenty of opportunities for spectacular group photos throughout the trip.
We decide individually at the numerous photo points when to give the tires a cool down.
